Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (MECFS) is a long term serious debilitating illness that can leave the people with it unable to complete even simple tasks.
As of today there are approximately 28 million people worldwide with this condition.
For some, tasks like ironing can be too tiring, for others it is not possible to even get out of bed or even sit up.
By wearing clean but untidy clothes for one day you acknowledge that MECFS is real, and that people with this condition need to be given the support they need.
This cause is not to take away from existing causes but to help support them check out the following sites for more information about MECFS.
May I encourage you to get behind their efforts.
International Untidy Clothes Day is a way to show our support for people with MECFS and promoting organizations that support them. (facebook cause http://apps.facebook.com/causes/374610?as_id=644672&as_type=Sharing&recruiter_id=70022708&)
